Announcements Mesick • Cohen • Wilson • Baker • Architects are pleased to announce the opening of a branch office in Williamsburg, Virginia after nearly four decades of practice in Albany, New York. Our projects in the mid-Atlantic region include Thomas Jefferson's buildings at Monticello, Poplar Forest and the Farmington Country Club; James Madison's Montpelier; Hancock's Resolution, and the reconstruction of the 1667 chapel at St. Mary's City. The firm would like to welcome Mark R. Wenger to our staff. For the past 23 years Mark has served on the staff at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. During that time he has made significant contributions in the investigation, restoration, and reconstruction of many important buildings in Williamsburg and across Virginia and Maryland. Most recently he co-managed a detailed investigation of James Madison's Montpelier, working in collaboration with a team from our office to assess the feasibility of restoration to the Madison period. He has been published extensively in the field of architectural history, and his skills in building analysis, field documentation, writing and design bring an added unique dimension to our firm.
