US Federal Courthouses

General Services Administration (GSA)

MCWB was awarded two consecutive five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contracts for design and engineering services for court and federal agency facilities in upstate New York.  Both contracts were extended several times amounting to 18 continuous years of providing a full range of services including feasibility and pre-design studies, preparation of Contract Documents, and construction review and inspection on a variety of projects.  The projects have been primarily for court facilities, including US district courtrooms, judge’s chambers suites, bankruptcy courtrooms, magistrate courtrooms, grand jury suites, and court clerk offices.  In addition, other projects have included offices for US Attorneys, US Probation, Internal Revenue Service, US Marshal’s Headquarters, and Child Care Centers. Several of the federal buildings are historic landmark courthouses listed on the National Register of Historic Places, that involved the repair and restoration of their original building envelope including facades, exterior windows, and roofs.

Throughout the IDIQ Contracts, MCWB along with a team of consultants, demonstrated the proven ability to accomplish a variety of projects within strict project estimates and time schedules.
